The Sheriff and U.S. Marshal offices know how to serve Writ process. The current court system is short on staff and over-worked. Similarly, both the Sheriff and U.S. Marshal Service experience the same shortages, which hurts their ability to serve Writ process in a timely manner. In fact, the U.S. Marshal in Los Angeles will not serve ANY process unless ordered to do so by a Federal Judge.

To help with this problem, each of our agents are Registered and Bonded Process Server’s which allows us to serve:

Bank Account Attachments
Accounts Receivable Levy’s
Real Property Attachments
Wage Garnishments.

In addition, the Federal procedure for Writ process is complex and time consuming.
We are one of the few agencies in Los Angeles which has a good working relationship with the U.S. Marshal Service. We maintain the required paperwork in our office and will get the Writ process issued, served and returned to the U.S. Marshal Service.

It's all about the timing too.

The Sheriff will serve regular Writ process whenever they get to it. It could take a week; it might take a month. Either way, they serve it on a random basis.

Writ process served by our office is done on the specific date you specify. A bank account levy served in this fashion will always produce a better result.

Open File with Sheriff:
Before service we file all the above documents with the Sheriff, who opens a "Sheriff Levy File"

Service of Bank Levy:
We serve all bank and defendants shortly after we open the Sheriff's Levy File.

Filing of Proofs of Service and Return of Writ of Execution:
Immediately after serving all Garnishees and defendants we return to the Sheriff where we file the required Proofs of Service, and return the Original Writ of Execution to the Sheriff.

Record a Writ of Attachment package at the County Recorder:
We record an original Writ of Attachment pakcage at the County Recorder and make the IMPORTANT conformed copies BEFORE the documents are served.

Service of Writ of Attachment:
We serve all bank and defendants shortly after we record the Writ of Attachment package.

Posting of Writ of Attachment:
If the Writ of Attachment is for Real Property, we post a CONFORMED copy at the subject premises.

Service of Writ of Attachment Third Parties:
We serve all Third Party persons or entities who have an interest in the subject Real Property or bank accounts.

Filing of Proofs of Service and Return of Writ of Attachment:
Immediately after serving all Garnishees and defendants we return to the Sheriff where we file the required Proofs of Service, and return the Original Writ of Attachment to the Sheriff.
